Happy Easter!

This year Sylvie actually went in search of her Easter basket and shouted, "I found it" when she came across

it. (ok, Bryan rolled a ball to its location and miraculously she 'found it'.)

Although it was quite messy, we had a lot of fun coloring eggs. Luckily, Statia and Peter adopted us this year and we had an amazing brunch with their family, followed by an easter egg hunt. Sylvie, Zoe and Benny seemed to most enjoy putting the money from the eggs into the piggy bank. The kids had a great time and we are still suffering from an extended food coma. World's Worst Blogger

Ok, so I am pretty sure I am the world's worst blogger. I have all kinds of excuses of why I simply can't upload a few recent pictures or video and write down my thoughts. I think about it all the time. Usually my best stuff comes to me when I am in the shower, yet somehow I can't seem to get it together. So, I was thinking, why don't I just direct everyone to Zoe's blog since Statia basically covers all the bases for us there. If you are reading, go directly toto find out the latest 'going's on' of Sylvie.

I will do my best here to catch up.

A few major things happened earlier this month. We made a trip to Lewiston after Sylvie's Great-Grandpa passed away. It was a very sad time. 'Grandpa' as she called him, loved Sylvie so very much. He always sang such sweet songs to her, like "Sylvie, Sylvie, Give me your answer do! I'm half crazy, All for the love of you!" I'll always have great memories of Grandpa singing those songs to her! We are all so lucky to have had such a special person in our lives.

While we were there, Sylvie got to experience a real Western NY snow storm. I think we got about 2 feet of snow (which is not nearly as much as 7 or 8 feet we've had in the recent past). It was really beautiful. Here's a pic from my mom's house.
